This tutorial will demonstrate how to connect to a MySQL database using JDBC and display the results in a ListView.
This video was recorded using the 3.0 release of the MySql connector. The 5.1 release of the MySql connector uses Java 8 libraries that are not yet fully supported on Android at the time of this recording. I have tested and successfully used the same code with the 5.0 release. You can find the compatibility chart
